

Bio
Residing in New York, Robert has appeared as a sideman and bandleader and sideman in Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seattle, and New York. He is an award winning composer, educator, and musician originally from Toronto, Canada. His latest project, Reverse Migration, features his original compositions and is available everywhere through Pinch Records.
Robert is alumnus of the University of Miami Frost School of music and the Steinhardt School at NYU where he studied under Peter Bernstein, John Scofield, John Hart, Brian Lynch, and Alan Ferber. In addition to being an accomplished writer, arranger, and performer, Robert is also a passionate music educator and has led ensembles for the Monterey Jazz Festival Summer Intensive, Jazz Empowers, and Third Street Music Settlement.
